The secret to extending coolant life is to use a way oil that will not promote bacterial growth. Stearocling Way Oils will resist emulsifying into the coolant and does not contain traditional EP additives that are food for bacteria. The unique lubricity additive gives extremely low stick-slip coefficients that provide for controlled machine movement and thus good surface finishes.

Vulcan Stearocling Way Oils are designed for way lubrication. These oils are formulated with the finest high VI basestocks available combined with a special friction modifier that yields extremely low values in Cincinnati Milacron's stick slip test. Stearocling Way Oils also contain a tackiness additive, which helps the oil stick to the slides and ways improving lubrication, increasing film strength and eliminating stick-slip and chatter. These products will provide the ultimate in performance in slideway lubrication.
